How do I add my bank card to Stannp?

Add your payment details and enable low balance reminders and automatic top-ups to speed up, and maintain, your direct mail workflows.

Add your first billing address and payment card

Once logged in, click 'Settings' in the left toggle menu then select 'Billing' in the settings drop down. Then, you can:

  • Add a new Billing Addresses on the left

  • Top up your account to Add a new card, on the right

From here you can also:

  • 'Add low balance reminders' to email you when action is needed to increase the account balance
  • 'Enable automatic top-up' to make sure your campaigns are processed smoothly

More on this below.

Add your billing address

It's important to keep your active billing address up to date as Stannp will add this to generated invoices. If you have multiple billing addresses added you can edit, delete and set the correct one as the default billing address. Do this at any time in your settings.

Add additional addresses and payment cards

The easiest way to add additional billing addresses and payment cards to your account is in the 'Balance Top-up' page of your settings.

On the right of the page, click the drop down arrows to view billing addresses and payment cards. You will find the options to edit and new options there.

Once multiple options are available, you can select default preferences for each.

Add an auto top-up and low balance reminders

Enable low balance reminder

This will send you an email whenever your balance is running low. Enter an amount in the 'Trigger balance' field and auto enter which email you would like to be notified. Use a comma separated list for multiple email addresses.

Enable automatic top-up

Enable automatic top ups to maintain your balance for active mail campaigns. Enter your 'Top-up amount' and select your payment card (if multiple options have been added).

Your trigger balance will act as the threshold and when your balance falls to this, or below, your balance will be topped up and payment card charged.

This is especially useful if you have automated API workflows.

The 'Top-up amount' is excluding VAT/ tax. This will be charged with your top-up amount.
