What is simplex and duplex, and how do I add pages?
We can send anything from a one page document to a fifty page legal document
Our campaign designer has many features. In this article, we will explain how to add pages to your letters and what Simplex and Duplex means.
Simplex
Simplex is printing jargon for a single sided page document. If you wish to send eight single sided pages to each of your recipients, we would refer to this as an "8 page Simplex Letter". The back of each page will be left blank blank.
Duplex
Duplex is printing jargon for a double sided document. Your content is printed on both the front and back of each page. If you wish to send eight double sided pages to each of your recipients, we would refer to this as a "4 page Duplex letter".
Every additional page costs either $0.08 for a single sided page (Simplex) or $0.10 for a double sided page (Duplex).
How to change between Simplex and Duplex
On our platform, you can freely change between Simplex and Duplex at any time. When designing your mail (in either the 'Designs' or 'Campaigns' area), click on the mail piece settings (highlighted on the left menu), and adjust the 'Print Mode' drop down to Simplex or Duplex.

Print Mode is set to Duplex by default. Sending extra pages printed as Simplex is $0.08 each, whereas adding pages printed as Duplex is only $0.10 each.
If you're only sending a 1 page duplex (a two sided colour letter), this would be an $0.08 cost uplift. See our detailed pricing page for info.
Adding pages and adding a cover page.
When in your design, head to the design command options at the top of the page and simply click the '+' add page button. You'll see the page number range to the right increase and you can toggle thorough the pages there too!
To delete a page, go to that page and hit the trash can.

All of our letters are sorted into an envelope with a window. Therefore, the address will always need to be printed on the front page. Sometimes designs will not accommodate for the needed address block page. In this case we recommend adding a cover page. Add one page and leave this page blank. This will be your cover page with the rest of your letter being page two onwards.
To rearrange, add, copy, or delete pages, you can also head to the 'Pages' option on the left toggle menu.
To change the page order just drag and drop and this will switch the pages over.

If you wish to have your logo present and seen through the window for better promotion, we selecting the '8.5x11 Letter Large Window' mail format or selecting the XL window optional extra with the 8.5x11 Letter format.
